Do I need previous experience?
No. Tandem paragliding is designed for passengers who are flying with a qualified pilot. Your main job is to listen to the briefing, follow a few simple instructions, and enjoy the view.
What happens at takeoff?
The pilot checks the harness and wing, explains the movement, and chooses the safest moment. Usually, you take a few steps or make a short run together. The wing rises above you, the ground drops away, and the pilot takes control of the flight.
Will it feel like a roller coaster?
Usually, no. A tandem flight is often smoother and quieter than people expect. The exact feeling depends on the wind and the pilot’s route. Classic is a sensible introduction, Premium gives you more time and priority, and Extreme is aimed at passengers who want a longer or more dynamic flight with suitable conditions.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes with a secure fit.
A light jacket, because the mountain air can feel cooler.
Sunglasses and sunscreen.
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.
Are there age or weight limits?
Passenger suitability depends on the operator and the day, but the experience is generally available from around five or six years old. Children under five are not accepted, and the usual passenger weight limit is 110 kg. Pregnancy, serious back or heart conditions, severe panic, alcohol, and drugs are reasons not to fly.
What if the weather changes?
Paragliding depends on safe wind and weather conditions. A responsible pilot may delay, reschedule, or cancel a flight if conditions are unsuitable. That is not a failure of the experience; it is part of operating safely.
The simple answer: first-time passengers do not need to be athletic or experienced. They need to be medically suitable, follow instructions, and choose an operator that explains the plan clearly.
For reference, Classic flights are about 10–20 minutes, Premium 15–25 minutes, and Extreme 20–30 minutes, depending on conditions.
